Father's Day is coming up on June 21, and it's time to start thinking about what to get the dad who insists he has everything he wants already. Lucky for you, we test gadgets all year, and can make some recommendations for things he doesn't even know he needs yet.

ZDNET gadget reviewer Adrian Kingsley-Hughes says he likes to have a screwdriver, scissors, and a pair of pliers close at hand, but most multitools are a no-go at airports and on commercial aircraft, often confiscated. He recommends the TSA-friendly NexTool Mini multitool, which has no blade and features needle-nose pliers with wire cutters, tiny scissors, a bottle opener, a SIM extractor, and Phillips head and flathead screwdrivers. There's also a handy keyring for attaching it to your keys.

Help your dad cut down on cords with this wireless charger. It features 15W Qi2 charging for iPhones or other Qi2-compatible phones, with the 5W wireless charger on the base compatible with AirPods or a second wireless phone. ZDNET Senior Editor Kyle Kucharski said "it has a premium, non-pretentious design that just looks good on a desktop."
Of all the digital picture frames on the market, I'm a fan of the Aura because of the quality of the frame itself, and the ease of adding photos -- you can text them to a specific number associated with your account, and they'll instantly appear in the carousel, so you don't need to be emailing a bunch of attachments. My parents love the one I gave them this year.
